You're not going mad, there is just a lot of change happening.

Where at another culturally revolution and people are inherently going to request a progressive morality. As a country, the United States is incredibly behind on a lot of first world necessities. We have far more racial tension. We have insufficient equality between males and females. We have a stigma for sexuality. We use criminal facilities to house our mentally ill which is an outcry for the necessity for mental health facilities and sciences.

So although you see it as stupid shit, there are a lot of intelligent and basic needs that follow the "annoying opinions" of SJWs. It is also difficult to 100% sympathize or relate to any issue that you are not rightfully included in. You can't understand the severity of the police and Black American hostility because you don't have to live it. You don't have to worry about the orientation appropriation against homosexuals and transgenders. etc.

So while it might be annoying, you should try to promote good progressive morality. Annoyance shouldn't trump a moral compass.

What Chaos said. The main ones I see doing this are white college girls who spend mom and dad's money, and young "educated" black women. The white girls inevitably have a hatred for all other white people, and the black girls tend to forget that the black community is worse than white people for appropriating Asian cultures and stereotypes.

Also I don't even use tumblr! It's leaked over to every other single form of social media.

You said 'USA' is behind in first world necessities. I'm going to give you a minute to think as to why some of that stuff is happening.

As for the second part, about blacks and police brutality, 9/10 the cops were called because a crime was reported or in place. Police aren't just randomly stopping people all the time to just start trouble and shoot them. These people were reported to be in the wrong, save for the case of the guy who got shot with a real gun for totting around a fake one in Wal-Mart. Now, the issue is more the police need to be trained better.
