Explanations are practically copy pasta at this point.... One side is interested in being inclusionary to the point it's idiotic just for pc brownie points, puts memes in games while spitting in their consumers faces. The other side has been wanting a new Baldurs Gate but what they got was a game that was horribly written, characters they enjoyed drastically changed to fit some writers fan fic tier writing skills, and buggy gameplay. Also, please tell me that's a fucking prequel, no one needs to see the Deathstar rebuilt just to be blown up for the third time. Hope Force Awakens is at least a time passer though. They made a big ol page explaining everything: http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/04/tale-dr...ng-horrid/ And Beamdog saying they'll do something to make it better but the chances of it becoming something worthwhile is practically zero: http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/06/beamdog...gate-joke/ Because I know some of you have shit taste in anime: http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/06/xseed-r...teextella/ Because they're gonna be terrible: http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/06/final-f...-hour-rpg/ http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/06/new-fin...developer/ Because new Star Fox is starting to look interesting (but fuck giving NoA money): http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/05/new-foo...fox-guard/ Because we're all still laughing at you: http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/04/starbou...ion-close/ Because at this rate it won't be long before we're calling each other "comrade" http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/04/extingu...smb3-hack/ Because they're bleeding accounts: http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/07/blizzar...ft-server/ Because I can't figure out why there still isn't an Armored Core PC port: http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/06/assault...tion-4-pc/ Because no politician knows how to spend money: http://nichegamer.com/2016/04/06/congres...eam-games/ So who you assholes voting for? |

The movie is set right before the original Star Wars and is about the rebels who stole the plans for the first Death Star. Also looking forward to this more than I was The Force Awakens honestly, I never really cared much for the shit that happens after Return of the Jedi, even in the old continuity. You're implying this film isn't going to be pure kíиo. The greatest cinematic masterpiece since The Anvil Hoarder. |

You forget how half assed the entertainment industry is these days. It may get your inner nerd off but trailers are made to push your buttons without giving you anything concrete. Did you enjoy The Force Awakens because it will likely be at that level at best. |

RE: Spam Thread
As long as they stay in tone with the universe being the past of future of the 1970s, I will be fine with it. Nothing could ever be as awful as the prequel trilogy, even if they tried. Will it not be a bit confusing though if this new trilogy begins with a sequel, phases into a prequel, and then continues into whatever they have planned for the third one? I am just imagining how this will look in future years when people sit down to watch a marathon of all nine features.

"A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away" likely got scraped in The Force Awakens, now it's... ... PRESENT DAY

I liked TFA, but I felt like it could have been more experimental, it felt like it was playing it safe with the plot being basically A New Hope 2.0. This looks like it will at least mix the storyline up a little. I am just imagining how this will look in future years when people sit down to watch a marathon of all nine features. They seem to be doing just that actually. TFA had updated viewscreens that actually moved, which makes sense since it's decades into the future, but the rebels in this one use the same static shit that looks like it's straight from the 70's film. Linking because image is fuck huge and too lazy to fix it on my phone. http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/star...0321041033 Also this isn't the second movie in the new trilogy/Episode VIII, it's just a side story, or anthology film. VIII will be the one after that, and then another anthology film about Han Solo's earlier life (which sounds dumb to me). |

Homestuck updated with an 18 minute flash.
Hot damn; I can say I've watched Homestuck now. Edit: Oh, are you guys talking about star wars? I find people's reaction to me telling them I haven't watched one entertaining. |
