RE: Spam Thread
The interview was actually for an insurance company, and was presented almost like a seminar, with I suppose about 12 people applying for four positions. Apparently all working for an insurance company requires is literacy, dress clothes, a resume, motivation, and (in the state of Louisiana) a $322 dollar license. I just could not see myself doing that for a living though, and by the end of the process, the prospect frightened me. Thankfully the second interviewer could tell I did not want the job. It was just nice to finally have an interview for a change. The more I think about it and go through events like this, the more I realize my ideal job would involve art.
Also I entertained myself through the process by remembering Meryl and Millie from Trigun wandering around the desert with boxes of donuts trying to sell insurance. What was the name of the company they worked for, the Bernard-Deli Insurance Society? The company that invited me to the interview was really quite similar in how they conducted sales, except that this company primarily sold life insurance. http://mrcl-daedalus.deviantart.com/ https://sushigirl.us/ |

RE: Spam Thread
Life insurance is a coverage you REALLY should have a generous amount of when working anywhere near Vash the Stampede.
Some days I wonder though how people working in that kind of business sleep at night. To me the insurance industry just reeks of fraud- their entire business model is selling you fear of what could happen and then trying to weasel out of having to pay up when things go horribly wrong and you actually need to use the coverage you had signed up for. |

RE: Spam Thread
So I forced myself to work on one of my stories last night and for some reason I was summoning Raymond Serra's Chief Sterns character from the first TMNT movie as the Detective who's grilling the main character
