Whelp, apparently I can no longer afford to see a shrink and a doctor on a regular basis because mom suddenly got a new job out of the blue without insurance benefits. Tried getting a job with the people who provide me said amenities because I was told that all I needed was a High School Diploma, but what a big surprise! They're not interested in hiring me!
It used to be some stupid in-joke that I'm in a sort of Karmic Quandary where I can never have anything I really want, now it's just depressing and sad

Hey Neo, most shrinks don't actually fix anything. Unless you sought them out on your own and want to change something, there is literally nothing they can do for you. You'll be saving a ton of money and headache in not having to pay for a service that offers no benefit at all.
As for doctors, depends on what kind. The kind that actually does cure illness and mend physical injuries can be worthwhile, but unless you have a lasting condition that requires regular checkups it is not necessary to visit more than once a year other than to be treated for illness/injury.
And thanks to Obamacare, if you don't have health insurance, you have to pay a few thousand dollars in fines on your taxes at the end of the year. So you'd better make getting insurance a priority, because our government hates you.
