I don't know, while I do like turn based RPGs, and I even wanted to dig into the Action Bar system, I am more fond of real time action battle systems.

I don't know, people seem to like the new battle system but I keep hearing mixed views.

I find Necalli more interesting to be honest. Him and Laura are my prime picks atm.

Thing is, this is a complete downgrade from how pretty 13 looked. Though, I know the sprites were crazy expensive as there are stories on how animations took an entire day to finish.

Part of the ever lasting appeal of SNK was their ridiculously detailed and high quality 2D sprites (though their early attempts leave a little to be desired), take that away and SNK is just another video game company

I've been playing Neptunia Re;Birth 1 lately, and I personally am quite fond of the combat in that game. It's been too long since I played a game where I legitimately needed to grind, though. Reaching both the first chapter's boss and the second chapter's mini-boss, I ended up trying while under-leveled and pretty much all three members of my party were OHKO'd. >~<

I don't mind turn based RPGs necessarily, but too many of them are formulaic. Now if the game has an interesting premise or gimmick (like the Mother series for example), then that I can get behind
